As an orthodontist, Dr. Michael is constantly reminded of the life changing effects orthodontics can have on people’s lives. This integral role of transforming smiles and enhancing people’s self-confidence brought Dr. Michael to this specialty. Combining this with his appreciation of beauty and his obsessive attention to detail, orthodontics seemed like a perfect match.
Where did you learn about dentistry?
Dr. Michael first completed his Bachelors of Science in Biology at California State University, Chico before undergoing his dental training at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He experienced a great deal of success through his hard work and went on to the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine for his specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics Dr. Michael is a diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics and he is actively keeping up with the latest orthodontic technology and techniques.
What do you like to do in your free time?
When not practicing orthodontics, Dr Michael enjoys exploring new restaurants, traveling to exciting destinations, and staying active. He is an avid sports fan, loves golf, and appreciates the occasional Netflix and chill nights.
